The Hopkinsville Art Guild is ready for springtime and is eager to celebrate by inviting the public to participate in their Crafting After Hours event on March 10.
According to a news release, participants will get to create and decorate their own bird houses to get ready for spring birds while enjoying a supportive, fun atmosphere and work alongside others and experience the creative process. All supplies will be provided and some painting techniques will be shared.
The new Crafting After Hours programs—which will take place monthly on Tuesday evenings at take place at 6 p.m.—offer participants a chance to learn many different art techniques with many different mediums, including creating with alcohol ink, painting birdhouses, fiber arts, fabric painting, acrylic pouring, making gift bags, and hand lettering.
All events are open to the public with a $25 fee, which provides for art supplies. Participants under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult and registration is required by March 6.
