Minority Economic Development Initiative is hosting a pair of events this week.
The first will be a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Thursday evening from 5 until 6:30 at the MEDI office next to US Bank on South Main Street and Executive Director Henry Snorton says they will be highlighting people, talent and programming.
MEDI will host ‘Startup Hoptown’ from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday at its office and Snorton says the free event is for anyone considering starting up a business of their own.
He says the seminar will be beneficial, no matter where you are in the process.
