Over $95,000 worth of Girl Scout cookies arrived in Hopkinsville Wednesday and local residents can expect to see them for sale in the coming days and weeks.
Cecelia Cloos says girl scouts from Christian, Todd and Trigg counties have already been taking orders and the cases of cookies unloaded at the Fairgrounds Convention Center Wednesday will fill all of those requests for Tagalongs, Samoas, Thin Mints and other favorites.
Once all of the deliveries are complete, you’ll be seeing Girl Scout troops selling their cookies at all of the usual locations beginning next week.
Cloos thanked the Christian County Jail for providing a crew to help unload the pallets of cookies for a 27th consecutive year.
Each troop will receive a portion of the sales to use for any of their outdoor activities, badges or other expenses.
