Defending 2nd region champion Henderson County is picked first with Christian County fourth, Hopkinsville sixth and University Heights 8th. Trinity McGee of Christian County is ranked as the fifth best player in the region with Lily Hendricks of University Heights 7th.
The Courier Journal also released its Girls Top 25 preseason poll over the weekend. Ryle is ranked first, Henderson County is 19th, Webster County is 20th, Marshall County is 21st and Bowling Green is 23rd.
