Indictment returned against Gracey man for sex crimes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Christian County Grand Jury returned an indictment for sex crimes against a Gracey man Friday, and returned separate indictments for abuse.

Indicted for 12 counts possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and sexual crimes against animals is 45-year old Larry Stewart of Gracey.  According to an arrest report, an investigation into Internet Crimes Against Children revealed that Stewart had used his Twitter account to send an image containing child sexual exploitation to another individual.

Further investigation of his twitter account also showed he had assisted in sex crimes involving a woman, who is not named in the report, and his personally owned dog.  A search of his cellphone revealed more imagines of minors in a sexual performance.  During an interview, Stewart allegedly admitted to having the images and in to his role in the sex crimes against the dog.

Also indicted Friday is 39-year old Jeshia Wills of Hopkinsville on a charge of first-degree criminal abuse, after the 3-year old she was watching was allegedly found trying to cross West Seventh Street while she was bathing.  She had allegedly been babysitting the child and told them they could play outside while she took a shower.

One no true bill was issued for Anthony James Hendrix by the grand jury.  The charges brought before the grand jury against him are now dismissed.
