New York Mets starter Jacob deGrom and Houston Astros starter Justin Verlander are the 2019 MLB Cy Young Winners. DeGrom won the NL version of the award for the second straight year, while Verlander also gets his second AL Cy Young after prevoiusly winning with Detroit in 2011.
MLB Awards Week wraps up with the Most Valuable Player award winners announced tonight. The National League finalists are the Los Angeles Dodgers Cody Bellinger, the Washington Nationals Anthony Rendon and the Milwaukee Brewers Christian Yelich, who won last season. The American League finalists are the Los Angeles Angels Mike Trout, the Houston Astros Alex Bregman and the Oakland A’s Marcus Semien.
