A Madisonville teen was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Hopkins County.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined 23-year old Aaron Lynn of Hanson had been southbound on Stagecoach Road and 19-year old Cody Lloyd of Hanson was crossing Stagecoach on Shakerag Road.
Police say Lloyd entered Lynn’s path of travel and their vehicles collided.
Lloyd was flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville for treatment of injuries. His passenger, 19-year old Taylor Morse of Madisonville, was taken to Baptist Health Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Lynn was injured, but a news release doesn’t say if he was taken to a hospital.
