Five displaced by East 18th St. fire, no injuries

Five people were displaced by a structure fire Saturday night on East 18th Street.

Hopkinsville Fire Chief Steve Futrell says firefighters arrived at 308 East 18th shortly before 8 p.m. and found flames coming from the structure.

He says investigators had not determined a cause of the blaze.

All five people living in three separate apartments in the home were displaced and the American Red Cross was called to assist.

No one was injured in the incident, which was the third house fire in Hopkinsville since Thursday afternoon.
