Additional details have been released on a fatal officer-involved shooting Saturday afternoon in Calloway County.
Kentucky State Police has identified the suspect who was shot to death as 42-year old John Hale of Almo.
As previously reported, a Calloway County sheriff’s deputy and Murray police officer responded to a call of a suspicious person in the area of Radio Road in the Dexter community about 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Following an altercation with the law enforcement officer, Hale was shot and died from his injuries. An autopsy was conducted Sunday in Madisonville.
The names of the officers involved have not yet been released.
