The Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s is less than two weeks away, but organizers say there’s still plenty of time to help.
Donna Bryan says they hope to have 500 participants on Sunday, September 29 at the Christian County Justice Center and their fundraising goal is $85,000.
She says you can register for the walk online in advance, or sign up in person on the day of the event.
Early fundraising efforts have already brought in about $32,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association, which funds research for a cure and helps patients who are struggling with the disease.
