Driver fatigue was a factor in a single-vehicle accident on KY 272 in Trigg County Saturday afternoon that sent the driver to a Nashville hospital.
Cecil Carr of Cadiz was westbound when he fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the left side of the road, according to Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Danielle Adams.
Carr was flown by Air Evac to a hospital in Nashville with severe injuries.
