The Knoxville News Sentinel reports the NCAA has approved a transfer waiver for Aubrey Solomon, who is joining the University of Tennessee from the University of Michigan. The defensive lineman has been on the Tennessee campus since January and had been working out with the team. Solomon is a welcome addition to a thin UT defensive line due in part to the loss of Emmit Gooden to a season ending knee injury in the preseason. The Vols open the season hosting Georgia State Saturday.
