Kentucky State Police are investigating a potential murder-suicide from Friday in Muhlenberg County.
Troopers were called to 785 St. Clair Road in Bremen Friday morning and found 47-year old Darcy Markwell and her husband, 55-year old Jon Tracy Markwell, dead from gunshot wounds.
KSP says in a news release that it appears Jon Markwell shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself. The Muhlenberg County Coroner’s Office pronounced both victims dead at the scene and the incident is under investigation by Detective Billy Over.
