Bennett’s big night propels Hoppers to 18-8 win over Muhlenberg County

The Hoptown Hoppers won their third straight game last night, routing Muhlenberg County 18-8 in eight innings. Seth Bennett had a big night at the plate, going 4-6 with three singles, a double and five RBI. He says he’s really enjoyed his experience with the Hoppers:

Micah Genter, Ben Huber and Greg Mehlhaff each had two hits, with Mehlhaff driving in three runs. Chandler Kendall in relief of newly acquired Zack Losey picked up the pitching win.

The Hoppers are now 17-10 and return to action this evening on the road at Henderson, with first pitch at 6 pm.
