The Hoptown Hoppers made some fireworks of their own on Independence Day, ending a four game losing streak with a 15-6 win at Dubois County.
The Hoppers pounded out 11 hits, with four players-Santrel Farmer, Drew McGowan, Jacob Jenkins and Greg Melhaff getting 8 of them, with Farmer and Mehlhaff each getting a double.Will Nash pitched seven innings allowing six runs, none earned, as the Hoppers committed seven errors in the game.
