Murray State’s Anthony Smith received a good bit of news this week when the NCAA informed the school he was cleared to participate for a fifth season of competition in the 2019-20 season. The Suitland, MD was expected to be a big part of the Racers 2018-19 basketball season when he suffered a broken right ankle in early December.
Smith had started the first five games and was scoring at almost eight points per game to go with five rebounds. Smith will be with his teammates when the Racers take part in a three-game exhibition tour in the Bahamas in early August.
