The Marshall County man sought in connection with a fatal dog attack Saturday night has been arrested.
Kentucky State Police arrested 29-year old Daniel Kai Alexander of Gilbertsville and served him with a warrant for tampering with evidence and for not reporting the death of a person.
As previously reported, Brian Butler of Benton was found dead on McCoy Lane in the Gilbersville community and investigation determined he had been mauled to death by dogs. Three pit bull dogs found in the area were taken into custody and quarantined by Marshall County Animal Control.
Alexander is the owner of one of the dogs and police say he tampered with evidence. Investigation determined he also knew of Butler’s death and the location of his body and did not notify authorities.
