The Hoptown Hoppers lost both ends of a doubleheader to Dubois County at Tiger Field last night.
Game one saw the Hoppers lose 3-2 to the Bombers on a sixth inning two run home run from Chase Hug after the Hoppers broke a 1-1 tie on a home run by Santrel Farmer in the third. Cam Barlow suffered his first loss of the season:
Dubois County scored six times in the first inning of the nightcap in winning 11-0 as Hoptown was held to just four hits. Jacob Lents took the pitching loss for the Hoppers. Coach Grayson Crawford says lots of little things led to the Hoppers losing both games:
