The Western Kentucky State Fair concluded last night after nine evenings of fun and events.
Total attendance for this year’s fair was 31,180—down by about 3,500 from last year’s total. Severe weather on the first and third days of the fair was likely a factor in attendance being lower than the last several years.
The demolition derby on Saturday, June 22 and the first round of Mid South truck and tractor pulls on Friday, June 28th brought out the largest crowds, followed by Pennyrile Electric Day on Tuesday, July 25.
