The 400 Mile Yard Sale is already well underway as of Thursday morning and will continue through Sunday all along U.S. 68 across Kentucky.
The threat of impending rain hasn’t stopped bargain hunters from finding their way to the sales scattered across the county, or stopped others from setting up booths to participate. Ana Sanchez has a booth set up in the Senior Citizen Senior on West Seventh Street and says she looks forward to meeting new people every year.
She says she fully intends to do some shopping herself during the event.
Sanchez says she will be set up all weekend, as will many other sales and vendors. A map of registered sales in Christian, Todd, Trigg and all counties along the route is available at 400-mile dot com. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is reminding motorists on US 68 to use abundant caution this weekend. Be alert for slow-moving traffic and for automobiles stopping at sales.
