The two men killed last night in a shooting in the parking lot of longhorn steakhouse on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville have been identified.
They are identified as 37-year old James Ramsey and 53-year old John Allgood, both of Clarksville. They were transported to a local hospital, where they would die of their injuries.
As previously reported, it happened about 8:30 p.m. and Clarksville police say initial investigation determined the men were shot during some type of dispute and that the general public is not in danger.
Officers arrived at the scene to find about 15 to 20 bystanders attempting to render aid to the injured.
Police say many people fled from the scene when gunfire erupted who may have information on what led up to the incident.
Investigators say anyone with any information at all is urged to call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-tips.
