Governor’s Office accepting applications for KCTCS, HCC board members

The Governor’s Office is putting out a call for volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors for numerous Kentucky Community and Technical College System schools, including Hopkinsville Community College.

According to a news release, those interested in serving on those boards—which help shape the plan and impact of the college in a community—are asked to submit an application online to board-register dot k-y dot gov.

Applications are being accepted for numerous colleges, including Hopkinsville Community College, Madisonville Community College, West Kentucky Community and Technical College and many others. Go online to view a list of other campuses and to apply.  The deadline to apply to serve on a board is June 10 and Governor Matt Bevin will announce the appointments.
