Two Hopkinsville residents were arrested for methamphetamine possession following an investigation Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to James Drive for a possible theft in progress and found two suspects matching the description given by the victim.
Police reports say 41-year old Kelly Holder and 41-year old Joseph Mira gave consent to search bags they were carrying and officers found syringes and methamphetamine.
Holder and Mira were charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
