Reports say former Christian County boys coach Frankie Smith stepped down Monday as head coach at Bell County. Smith spent two seasons as Colonels coach from 2015-17 compiling a 56-11 record with one 2nd region title in 2016 and one runner up finish in 2017. Smith went 35-23 the last two seasons at Bell County, including an 18-12 record this past season.
