Woman hurt in Princeton head-on collision

The Princeton Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision that injured a Princeton woman on Varmint Trace Road Wednesday.

According to a news release, investigation determined that a vehicle operated by 59-year old Don Gray of Princeton was making a left turn at the intersection of Varmint Trace Road and Maple Avenue. At that moment, a vehicle driven by 44-year old Lori Travis of Princeton was travelling west on Maple through the intersection.

Gray reportedly did not observe Travis and the two collided head-on. Travis was taken by ambulance to the Caldwell County Hospital for her injuries.
