Man seriously injured in crash at Bypass and Boulevard

A man sustained serious injuries in a three-vehicle wreck about 6:30 p.m. Friday at Fort Campbell Boulevard and the Eagle Way Bypass.

The traffic lights for motorists on the Eagle Way Bypass were flashing red and the ones for motorists on the Boulevard were flashing yellow.

A collision report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Samantha Rodriguez says a pickup driven by 46-year old Kyle Durham of Crofton went through the red lights headed eastbound on the Bypass at a high rate of speed and collided with a northbound SUV operated by 35-year old Ashley Bullock of White Plains.

The momentum carried their vehicles into a stopped car driven by 63-year old Kerry Farrow of Hopkinsville.

Durham had visible head injuries and had a difficult time remembering what happened, according to the report, which says he was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

There were no other injuries reported in the crash.
