Elkton Police have made an arrest in connection with a car fire last month on North Main Street.
A news release says 53-year old Rex Oakes is charged with first-degree criminal mischief. He allegedly set fire to an ex-girlfriend’s vehicle on February 28th following an argument.
Police say officers observed Oakes at the location of the fire about 20 minutes prior to the incident.
