UPDATED: Oak Grove men arrested in connection with Clarksville shooting

Additional details have been released on a Sunday morning shooting on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville that led to the arrests of two Oak Grove men.

Clarksville Police issued an updated news release Thursday morning, saying 32-year old Jeffrey Hairston and 25-year old Jordan Hairston were responsible for the shooting of two men in the parking lot of a night club in the 2600 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard about 4 a.m. Sunday.

A security camera reportedly showed Jeffrey Hairston shooting some sort of long gun while Jordan Hairston was shooting a handgun. Shell casings located at the scene.

One of the victims, Jonte Bailey, was treated and released and then was booked into Montgomery County Jail on outstanding warrants.  The other victim in his 60’s remains hospitalized in stable condition for his injuries.

Both suspects were arrested following a brief standoff Wednesday night in Madisonville and are awaiting extradition back to Tennessee for two counts of aggravated assault. Jeffery Hairston is also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and was served with a Kentucky warrant for probation violation.
