Planters Bank donates $7k to local agencies

Planters Bank has donated over $7,000 to Hopkinsville non-profit agencies as a result of the bank’s annual Season of Giving.

According to a news release, during the season of Season of Giving campaign, 100% of purchases of Kentucky-made bacon and Clarksville-made jams featured in each Planters Bank branch were donated to the non-profits. At the same time, a successful Facebook and Twitter campaign added to the fundraiser.

The Planters Bank main office donated to $3,165 to the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County during Season of Giving. The Planters Bank boulevard branch donated $2,280 to Sanctuary, Inc. and the Planters Bank Indian Hills branch featured the Junior Auxiliary of Hopkinsville’s Parade of Pennies, donating $1,655.

Combining all 12 Planters Bank locations, Planters Bank donated over $28,500 to non-profits across Western Kentucky and Tennessee through its Season of Giving.
