Hopkinsville Police investigated the report of shots fired Tuesday night in the area of East 18th and Mckee Street.
Lt. Jefferson Alexander says officers did recover one shell casing and that no one was injured.
He says KSP became engaged in a pursuit of a vehicle in the area of East 18th Street that ended with a wreck near Moore’s Drive, but it’s unknown if the two incidents are related.
State Police have not released any information on the pursuit.
