The Modernette Civic Club will host its 25th annual African American Heritage Breakfast Saturday morning at 8 at the Bruce Convention Center.
Rev. Lisa Lewis Balboa is chairing this year’s event and says they’re excited to have Lane College President, Dr. Logan Hampton, as their keynote speaker and the Lane College Ensemble Choir for entertainment.
Tickets are $20 per person and money raised will help local young people further their education.
