Details of the Monday morning robbery and carjacking at the Hopkinsville Walmart Supercenter are included on a warrant for one of four suspects charged in connection with the incident that led to multiple pursuits and the shooting of a Hopkinsville police officer.

Officer Jeremy Davidson was doing well at Skyline Medical Center and was hoping to be released Tuesday, according to Chief Clayton Sumner.

Hopkinsville Police located 25-year old Autumn Neblett of Palmyra, Tennessee hiding in a dugout at the University Heights Academy baseball field Monday morning and she still had the assault rifle used to shoot Officer Davidson, according to the warrant. She was the only suspect arrested in Kentucky and is charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property.

Twenty-nine-year old Keith Kuzyk of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee is facing several serious charges, including two counts of attempted murder of a police officer and first-degree robbery.

Twenty-four-year old September Neblett was arrested in Montgomery County for complicity to first-degree robbery and receiving stolen property. Police charged 19-year old Anthony Johnson with first-degree robbery, fleeing or evading police and receiving stolen property.

The warrant against Autumn Neblett says the four suspects went to the store about 1:30 a.m. and Kuzyk approached an SUV occupied by four individuals. He ordered the driver out at gunpoint and struck the driver with the weapon when he refused to exit.

Kuzyk ordered the passengers out and fired the handgun into the air.

Police say Kuzyk and Johnson left in the stolen SUV and the Nebletts left in the pickup.

The four suspects met up later in the morning and Johnson and September Neblett got in the SUV and Kuzyk and Autumn Neblett rode off in the pickup.

Officer Davidson located the pickup about an hour later on Canton Street and a pursuit ensued.

A Christian County sheriff’s deputy deployed spike strips on North Drive near Sanderson Drive and that’s where Kuzyk fired multiple rounds, striking Officer Davidson in the arm and head. The pickup was abandoned in the driveway of a Sanderson Drive residence.

Kuzyk allegedly stole another vehicle at the Hopkinsville Waffle House later in the morning and was arrested following a pursuit in Montgomery County and the other two suspects were also arrested in Montgomery County Monday.

The pickup the suspects drove to Walmart in had been reported stolen in Clarksville on Sunday.
