Three arrested on meth charges in Murray

The Murray Police Department arrested three people on methamphetamine related charges early Monday morning, two in relation to trafficking.

According to a news release, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 30-year old Diana Hernandez of Murray and investigation led to her being charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers learned Hernandez had purchased the meth just a few minutes before the traffic stop, and she was able to describe the sellers and the vehicle they were operating.

While officers were still on scene, a vehicle matching the description drove by the location. A traffic stop was performed on that vehicle in the 800 Block of North 12th Street.

Officers arrested and charged 28-year old Ashley Burse of Murray and 25-year old Ralton Spradling of Murray with first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine. Spradling was additionally served with a warrant for parole violation.
