An investigation on Fort Campbell Boulevard late Saturday night led to the arrest of a woman on drug charges.
Hopkinsville Police officers were dispatched to check the welfare of an individual in a vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business in the 4800 block of the Boulevard just before 11:30 p.m. and made contact with 35-year old Amber Maddex of Clarksville.
Police say she was visibly under the influence of a substance and had a difficult time speaking and moving normally.
She was detained and a search of the vehicle allegedly revealed brass knuckles in a backpack, a baggie of methamphetamine and a baggie of marijuana and a grinder.
Maddex was arrested and charged with possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and public intoxication.
