United in Praise III concert to support local agencies next Saturday

A joint effort between Kiwanis, Rotary, the Hopkinsville Human Relations Commission and Pioneers, Inc. will bring back United in Praise for a third time to benefit local non-profit agencies.

United in Praise will take place February 23 at the Alhambra Theatre starting at 7 p.m. and tickets are $10 apiece.

Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman appeared on WHOP and says all the proceeds raised this year with help three local agencies by putting on a concert featuring several church choirs.

He says tickets are available on the Pennyroyal Arts Council website or at the Alhambra Theatre and there’s a limited amount.

Brockman says the events is all about bringing people together in support of those in need.

The show will feature choirs from First Christian Church, Second Baptist Church, Hillcrest Baptist Church, Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Edgewood Baptist Church, Virginia Street Baptist Church, All Nations House of Prayer, and Living Hope Baptist Church.
