A rear-end collision Friday morning on East Ninth Street injured one of the drivers.
It happened just after 11 a.m., according to a report from Public Safety Officer Cassidy Woods, which says 64-year old Juanita Jones of Hopkinsville was stopped while another vehicle exited a nearby parking lot.
She was rear-ended by a westbound pickup operated by 63-year old George Branson of Hopkinsville, who said he was moving something in his truck and didn’t see that Jones was stopped until it was too late.
Jones was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for neck and back pain. Branson was not injured.
