Christian County wrapped up the top seed for the 8th district tournament following a 61-48 win over Hopkinsville last night at Tiger Gym. Aaliyah Hampton led all scorers with 27 points for the Lady Colonels with Bianna Snorton adding 15 and Eniya McGee had 10 points off the bench. Hopkinsville was led in scoring by Bre Oldham with 12 points with Areonna Day adding nine and Jayla Rose scoring eight.
Christian County is now 13-7 and 5-0 in district games and returns to action Monday night hosting Fort Campbell.
Hopkinsville is now 14-12 and 3-2 in district play and at Webster County Tuesday night.
