UHA advances to the All “A” State Tournament Championship Game on Sunday

The UHA Blazers behind 23 points and 11 of 12 shooting from the free throw line from KyKy  Tandy advance to the All “A” State Tournament Championship game against Defending All “A” Champion Lexington Christian. The Blazers trailed 15th region champion Shelby Valley by 16 points late in the second quarter before scoring the last 6 points to end the half and trailed by 10 at the break 38 to 28.  UHA outscored  the Wildcats 31 to 11 in the second half to win 59 to 49. Shelby Valley only had 4 field goals in the second half including just one in the 4th quarter. The Blazers were lead in scoring by KyKy Tandy with 23, Will Bryan and Drew McGowan finished with 11. The Blazers are now 20 and 3 on the season.
