A vehicle pursuit that began on North Main Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday ended with the arrest of two suspects.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Rusty Rosencrance attempted to stop a southbound vehicle on North Main Street that was driven by 24-year old Mark Crawford of Hopkinsville for not having his headlights illuminated, according to Sgt. Brandon Myers, who says Crawford made a u-turn at Clearview Tire and headed north.

He turned onto Hickory Smokehouse Road and Deputy Rosencrance used a pit maneuver to spin the car out at the dead end. Mark Crawford and his passenger, 22-year old Justin Crawford of Hopkinsville, both exited the vehicle on foot and were soon arrested on multiple charges to include fleeing or evading police.

Myers says Mark Crawford was driving with a suspended license, but neither man was wanted on any warrants.
