Adam Svensson had a nine under par 61 and leads Andrew Putnam by a stroke and Matt Kuchar by two shots going into today’s second round of the Sony Open in Hawaii. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker is tied for seventh at four under 66, Louisville area native Justin Thomas is at three under 67, Lexington native Josh Teater is at one under 69 and Franklin’s Kenny Perry had a two over par 72.
