University of Tennessee coach Rick Barnes says Lamonte Turner will not play when the Vols open Southeastern Conference play against Georgia Saturday. Turner has struggled gaining confidence in his right shoulder after an offseason procedure aimed at correcting it. It was Turner’s second surgery on that same shoulder, and some specific moves with it still cause him issues. Turner has only played in three games this season. He was the SEC’s Sixth Man of the Year last season.
