For the first time since 1999, the 14th ranked Kentucky Wildcats play in a New Year’s Day bowl game today against 12th ranked Penn State in the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. The teams met on the first day of 1999 in the Outback Bowl with Penn State getting the victory. Kentucky is seeking just its third 10 win season in school history with a victory today. Both teams are 9-3 on the season.
