An Elkton woman was arrested for DUI on New Year’s Eve following a collision on Brock Avenue.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to the 800 block of Brock Avenue for reports of a two-vehicle rollover collision. A vehicle driven by 21-year old Kayla Williams of Elkton had reportedly crashed into a vehicle that was parked on the street and overturned, causing severe damage to the vehicle.

Williams reportedly told officers she hadn’t seen the vehicle. She allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol on her person and performed poorly on field sobriety tests and reportedly admitted to drinking prior to driving.

She was arrested and charged with DUI. No one was injured in the crash.
