A residence on South Road in Trigg County was destroyed by fire early New Year’s Day.
That’s according to Trigg County Emergency Management Director David Bryant, who says the residence located in the 15000 block of South Road was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on scene around 12:30 a.m.
He says no one was injured in the blaze and the owners were living in a different home behind the residence.
Firefighters from Linton and Roaring Springs Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the fire, along with the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department. The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
