Man arrested after shots fired call

A shots fired investigation on North O’Neal Avenue Saturday night led to the arrest of a man on several charges.

Hopkinsville Police received a call of shots fired in the 100 block of North O’Neal a few minutes before 8 p.m. and investigation led officers to locate a vehicle, gun and suspect allegedly involved.

They arrested 56-year old Prentice Leavell of Hopkinsville for first-degree wanton endangerment, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
