Fire destroyed a home on Cox Mill Road early Sunday morning.
Firefighters from the Square Deal Volunteer Fire Department responded to 9801 Cox Mill about 3 a.m. and were soon assisted by Herndon. Square Deal Chief Keith Sholar says the home was a total loss and the cause of the blaze has not been determined.
The occupants of the home, Neil and Kathy Campbell, were out of town when the fire broke out.
No one was injured fighting the fire.
