There was a pause in proceedings in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday as Circuit Judge John Atkins took a moment to say goodbye and wish Commonwealth’s Attorney Lynn Pryor the best of luck.
Pryor lost her bid for re-election this year and Judge Atkins told her he hopes she continues her career in the justice system in Christian County.
He says that over the last 12 years Pryor has exhibited unending dedication to all those she has served and he wanted to take a moment to show to respect the court has for her.
Rick Boling will assume the duties of Commonwealth’s Attorney in early January.
