A man accused of stealing a four-wheeler in Dawson Springs Sunday was arrested hours later following vehicle and foot pursuits.
The four-wheeler was stolen on Olney Road and investigation by multiple agencies in Hopkins County led to a suspect being located loading a four-wheeler into his pickup near US Highway 62 in Dawson Springs.
Police attempted to stop 27-year old Kristopher Barker of Dallas, Georgia, but he allegedly fled in the pickup through several fields and got away. About an hour later police located him in St. Charles and Barker was arrested following a short foot pursuit.
He was charged with the theft of the four-wheeler, possession of burglary tools, wanton endangerment and traffic-related charges from the pursuit.
