Icy conditions led to a single-vehicle accident Sunday morning on the Pennyrile Parkway that injured a Tennessee woman.
It happened about 4:40 a.m. and the report from Hopkinsville Police says 28-year old Valeria Cuesta of Smyrna was southbound near the 8 mile-marker when she lost control of her car on the ice and struck a guard rail.
Cuesta had a visible injury to her head and as taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
