Snow squalls Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning have left a dusting to a coating across much of the southern Pennyrile Region and motorists are urged to slow down on their morning commute.
Schools are closed Wednesday in Todd, Logan and Muhlenberg counties and are operating on a two-hour delay in Hopkins County.
A dispatcher at the Christian County ECC says police have been reporting that bridges and overpasses are slick across the county and one vehicle was in a non-injury accident on a bridge early this morning.
Dispatchers in Todd and Trigg counties said they had not had any reports of accidents as of the early morning hours.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has been out across western Kentucky treating problem areas since the light snow began.
